IN THE GARDEN
Being that our garden itself is a work of art, we like to bring opportunities for community members to further elevate the aesthetic while conveying positive messages of togetherness. Last year, we asked students of Staunton City Schools to design our garden backdrop. In painting a flock of birds and a herd of elephants they transformed the imagery to represent strength, tranquility and the power of teamwork, all being qualities we aim to bring through this community garden project.
