HOW IT WORKS:
Our gardens are designed to be a welcoming recreational area where all are welcome to frequent just as they would a city park!We want these gardens to be a place that is entirely maintained by the direct community. When community members help out they have free access to all produce grown here.Those who are not able to help out may purchase produce SUPER CHEAP on our Market Days (Fridays and Saturdays in May thru October)We host various workshops, called Garden Labs, in which the community can walk away with sustainability knowledge that they can apply at home. Learn about our Composting Program.From our leadership to our volunteers, we not only seek to represent the diverse members of our community, but we ensure our community is folded into our decision-making and operations. Our gardens are a place where individuals of all backgrounds may come to find pleasure and fulfillment and we strive to maintain this culture for years to come. |
